The Manics steal ideas from innocence – they don’t know what they’ve given till gone

The farmer plows and picks – The city dweller devours and discards

Sometimes we really just need to be broken open. Sometimes we have to let our greatest fears stand right in front of us, and instead of running away we need to embrace them. Wrap  your arms around them, tell them you love them with all your being. For shadow parts are sides of ourselves that long only to be brought into the light.

                I’m afraid of commitment, its as if there’s some massive blockage the second I make a decision romantic or not romantic that I suddenly feel claustrophobic and immediately second guess that.  Someone I love very much once told me “ I want to make mistakes, and embrace them fearlessly”. I think I have made a great mistake I have allowed fear to build a wall around my inner heart knowing that Its been difficult during meditation to hear it.

                During my morning meditation today I sat in full body relaxation but my mind was a racehorse; galloping fiercely from thought to thought painbody to painbody magnifying the multiple outcomes of decisions not made but potential.  Instead of breathing it out of my being I walked up to all these fears one at a time and said “I Love you” – I went up to Jealousy and told it I was inspired by its ambition. I went up to the fear of being left behind and told him I wished him well and will find happiness in being alone. I went up to Projection and told her I will be a mirror of support. I went up to Love and told this beautiful essence that I will find my way home.

                Its funny how no matter how similar beings can be that they look upon situations so differently. If were all made of the same thing , and all truly interconnected how come we are so bad at allowing others to explore different terrains if we know a part of them will always be with us?

                 Today I focus on not over thinking and being comfortable with mistakes.

Decide what you want - It can be multiple things. Then pick one each day to focus your energy on. Today I choose to focus on breathing love into everything I say and do. I will be gentle, I will be patient, I will be kind. What will you do today?

It’s 11:11 - make a Wish?

Its 11:11 make a wish…… Again and again – I wish for the simplest thing..Happiness.

Simple…  right?

Easy?..hardly .

 I find myself reading all these self help books talking about meditation, mindfulness, unconditional love, ect… but what about the days when you’re just pissed off- and those days turn to weeks, the weeks turn to years and suddenly you realize an full year has gone by and you hardly even noticed.  Then your mind immediately goes to blame – If I would have committed to this – Id be happy. If I would have said no to that – id be happy. If I’d been more ambitious and tried that I would have left him and met her and ect..then I’d be happy.  But at the end of the vicious “blame game” no-one wins – No ONE wins.

                So …the blame games over & you mind needs another battle so you turn to your computer.  Suddenly you find yourself in a constant state of projection – comparing yourself to the digital identities so many of us create as means to find a “place for ourselves” in the digital world. Essentially we’re keeping face in an alternate universe….sounds like something from a sci-fi movie – but its alive (not breathing) in the form of twitter, pintrest, facebook, instagram. It’s another language often used passive aggressively to say and be the things we cannot or choose not to be in reality.

                “I think I remember being happy” but on closer examination I was simply trying to get to exactly where I am now and guess what “I’m still seeking”. Gosh it sucks seeking. The worst part is I know how to practice being present – I know how to calm my mind, heck ive taught plenty of people how. But its as if I allowed myself to be wrapped up in misery so long I forgot the path to happiness. I forgot how to get home.

I had lunch with a dear friend today and she said to me “ I’m afraid I’m a glass is half empty kind of person”.  That got me thinking “What if no matter where I am I’m  still thirsty? Even if the glass is half full … IM REALLY THIRSTY…I need a full-full glass. We all want to feel content – my cup need not runnith over I just want to drink life down and feel satisfied. Satisfaction is on no-one else but me. You cannot depend on someone else to create your happiness – You are in charge of you. You will be left behind at times – these are moments to find peace in your own self. People will break promises – keep the promise to trust yourself. You will make mistakes – you ALWAYS get second chances. It’s OK not to know what you want – this is a time to identify who and what sets you on fire. When you are set on fire – Never let go of what make you burn. That is your life calling fuel that fire with the desire and passion to live with purpose and conviction.

So here’s what I can do for you. I can hold space for you – I challenge you that despite all these things that I just listed, that run through most of our brains, to let your inner heart knowing come through. I challenge you to be stronger than you think. Your hearts contemplation is more powerful than anything the mind could conjure. Together we are two souls honing our crafts, setting the intention to DO what sets us on fire and to BE that flame of an example. DO NOT LET PEOPLE BE ENERGY vampires DO NOT let them trample over your successes and make them feel small – any movement at all towards being your FULL self is applaudable and victorious. You are far to important and precious to me and all other beings to try and compare yourself to anyone but yourself. Be the best version of you  - that’s all. BE - YOU-Till- FULL …then you won’t need that second glass of half empty.

Just remember we are limitless - dont let us being humans cause us pain
